Nia Speaker of Color Series, Friday, February 3
Come and hear about the dynamic legacy of Booker T. Washington, the celebrated African American educator, author, and civil rights leader. Sarah O'Neal Rush, Washington’s great-granddaughter, will share her journey and describe how she is drawing from the past to inspire the future. She is the founder of the Booker T. Washington Empowerment Network, a character education and leadership program for disadvantaged youth.
